My mission is to support the production and dissemination of spoken audio in all forms which the world of modern media offers. I see the disappearance of the personal story-teller, the preserver and proponent of the myths and legends which underlie all human history, as one of the great threats to artistic traditions. As an reader, editor and producer of recorded audio I support the efforts of many-liked minded souls to ensure the survival and development of the noble art of story-telling.
In pursuit of this goal I have made substantial contributions to Librivox and Legamus and well as recording texts for commercial providers of spoken audio. Currently I have seven titles published on Audible.com, and others are being prepared.
I am also a founding member and administrator of Rhapsodize, whose mission of making high-quality perfomances of classic poetry readily available to the general public I enthusiastically support. As administrator I have responsibility for the creation and cataloging of projects and the maintenance of the Rhapsodize web page. For Rhapsodize I have completed five solo performances and collaborated on several others.
